The Setup

To launch the $2 million Sunshine for All™ Fund, Dole developed a broadcast campaign addressing nutritional gaps, food waste, and the growing disparity in healthy food access. To move beyond passive awareness, we created an immersive campaign microsite that allowed visitors to engage directly with the inequities highlighted in the TV spot. By utilizing a unique "Sunshine" mechanic, users could hit the "S" key to physically transform negative scenes in the film into ideal outcomes—pausing the narrative to educate on specific food gaps. This juxtaposition turned the brand’s visual story into a functional gateway, concluding with a simplified grant application process that invited visitors to partner with Dole in fixing global food-based inequities.
